Outdated Driver CDs

One thing that most computer users don’t realize is when you purchase a new device or piece of hardware the device driver CD that comes with the hardware is probably outdated. The best way to go about fixing this is go to the manufacturers website and try and find the latest release if there is one. Mainly because if you purchase your hardware from a retail store the driver CD is probably going to be outdated since the hardware was probably packaged and shipped out months before you made the purchase.

Once you download the new driver for the device and its working then don’t mess with the driver anymore. If the manufacturer says there is another new driver compared with the one you are using don’t download it. It boils down to this: "If it isn’t broken, don’t try and fix it". With that said, once you device works don’t mess with your device anymore.
