If you haven’t already noticed I try to keep up-to-date with the latest security software. Awhile back ago I ran into a useful website that had many different security tools offered. Some of them were free while others are free to try and must pay for them after a trial period. If you are currently looking for a firewall one to check out is PC Tools Firewall Plus.

I have heard from several sources that PC Tools Firewall Plus is similar to the COMODO Internet Security firewall. As of this writing COMODO is the number one free firewall on Internet today. I have used both COMODO Internet Security (which used to be a stand alone firewall) and PC Tools Firewall Plus and just like most sources say they do seem to be quite similar. I have not used PC Tools Firewall Plus very much but it did seem easy to use and reminded me of using COMODO. Since I was testing the firewall I installed it on my test computer and have not had much time to try it out but will look at it more in the future.
